If you work with more than one company (as an independent contractor, fractional operator, or freelancer) Shor’s built to handle that cleanly. You don’t need a separate account per company.Documentation Index

The Companies Tab
Under Contracts → Companies, you’ll see every company you have (or have had) a contract with. Each company card shows:- Company name and logo
- Your active contract(s) with them
- Your payment history
- Quick actions: open dashboard, message the company, view contract
One Profile, Many Companies
You only need to verify your identity once. Every company you work with uses the same verified profile; they see only the information relevant to your engagement with them. What each company sees:- Your name, role, and country
- The contract you have with them
- Payments they’ve sent you
- Any documents tied to the engagement
- Your other contracts
- Other companies you work with
- Your identity documents
- Payments from other companies
Multi-Currency Balances, One Account
All payments from every company land in one Shor account, but the account holds a balance per currency. If one client pays in USD and another pays in EUR, you’ll see a USD balance and a EUR balance, both in Finance → Accounts. Nothing is force-converted. When you’re ready to move funds out, link a bank account in Finance → Connections and withdraw from the currency balance you want. You can link multiple banks and pick a different destination per withdrawal, useful for splitting between savings and spending accounts.Invoicing and Records Per Company
The Payments and Transactions tabs can be filtered by company. You can:- Export only payments from a single company for that company’s records
- Pull a full year of earnings by company for tax filing
- Generate invoices per company for your own accounting
Tax Forms Per Company
If you’re a US contractor receiving 1099s, Shor keeps each company’s W-9 and year-end 1099 separate: clean, per-employer records you can hand to your tax advisor without any manual reconciliation.Offboarding From One Company
When one contract ends, it doesn’t affect your other engagements. You continue getting paid by your other companies exactly as before. The completed contract and its payment history stay in your archive.Next Steps
