Bank Accounts

The Bank accounts tab takes you to Finance → Connections, where you manage every bank account linked to Shor. You can add new connections, see their status, and set a primary funding source. See Funding your Shor account for the full flow.

Payments

The Payments tab controls how hands-off your payroll is. Two toggles:
  • Automatic funding: debits your connected bank the evening before payments are due
  • Automatic payments: processes scheduled salary and fixed-rate payments on their due date
Both are off by default. Turn them on once you’ve run a few manual cycles and know your workflow is stable. See Automating payments.

Billing

Your subscription details and invoices. Payment methods and billing address are managed in an external billing portal linked from the page. See Billing.

Appearance

Pick Light, Dark, or System (which follows your OS preference).

Company Profile

Legal company details and branding. Management of these fields is coming soon. For now, reach out to support@shorpay.com if you need to change your registered address, legal name, or tax ID after KYB is complete. These changes may require re-verification.

Entities

Manage the subsidiary legal entities your business owns. Subsidiaries are local legal employers in foreign countries that you can use for payroll instead of Shor acting as the employer of record. Admins can add a new subsidiary with its legal name, country, legal structure, registration number, tax ID, and registered address. Once added, a subsidiary can be selected when creating employment contracts in countries where you have a local presence.

Data

Export your account data — contracts, payments, and tax records — or make a privacy request (access, correction, or deletion). See Data privacy for what Shor collects and how it’s protected.

Account Notifications

Shor sends important account notifications (KYB updates, funding failures, billing reminders) to the email you signed up with. Make sure it’s an address that gets monitored, not a personal account that could be missed.

Closing Your Account

If you’re leaving Shor, reach out to support@shorpay.com. We’ll walk you through:
  1. Offboarding any remaining active workers
  2. Exporting your data (contracts, payments, tax records)
  3. Issuing the final invoice
  4. Closing the virtual account
